Yesh, is a bit outdated ^_O SSWM 516

She nodded and he did not bother to waste time by wondering exactly how much this nod of her meant. He was used to failures and those who tried to deceive. He held no trust in most creatures, only himself because he knew his own goals and intentions. He worked for chaos and decay and knew that few others did this. Of course he could always coax them on with trickery and wits, but it would always be unwise to go as far as to depend on someone else to do specific task that could hold importance to his plans and plots. All were not the same level of uselessness of course. This Lolita had managed to pull off a doable first impression with the male and that meant that she was already climbing above the majority of Dahlia’s members. He could offer her power in the future if she was to play her cards well. He did not trust that she would, but he could always quietly hope that she had some hidden worth in there somewhere. He needed worthy minions; needed creatures that were not overpowered by their own weakness. If he could he would use her in the future. Cercelee was not as safe and secure on her throne as she believed. He was closing in on her and soon there would be a confrontation that would change Dahlia’s leadership. He had waited long enough and the happenings at Dahlian borders were one way to ensure the members’ trust in him. Few had granted him his trust, but they could not deny him when it was clear that he was one of the few that worked endlessly for their safety.

Ears folded towards his chocolate furred skull as if in thought when the woman with the red fire in her hair wondered if the corpse would be safe to eat. He was quite certain that the flesh would be untainted by any kind of poisonous substance. He looked to the woman and was almost surprised to see the lack of concern on the woman’s features. Her last words made an impression on him and he wondered whether or not to investigate the woman’s words further. ”Oh, I’m sure I’ll be fine.” Haku knew that he was immortal and held no fears for poisoning or any other possible threat to his health for that sake. He was immune to death. ”You care not for your own health, Lolita?” the male had to ask now, impossibly blue orbs burning dimly as he watched the beautiful woman with refreshed interest. The answer could be as simple as the fact that she did not intend to touch the meat. Quite some wolves would be reluctant to touch meat they did not hunt and kill themselves; would cringe away from the wasted feast here. They were changing, reaching for a better life than a wolf’s life. Haku was rather simple like that. If the flesh was not too tainted by decay then he would devour it and his body would find strength and nutrition within the food.
