It was hard getting used to a new place, especially Nox who had only just begun to feel comfortable back at home. Unlike other times, though, she was willing to try and put forth the effort to get used to the place, only because she'd heard so many wonderful things about it. It also helped that she had her siblings with her, it would've been impossible without them, especially Zadkiel. He was the one that always made her feel the safest, the most comfortable. Nox knew that he wouldn't ever let anything bad happen to her. Zadkiel was her hero, or she liked to image he was, anyways.

When her grabbed her hand Nox titled her head up and gave a soft smile toward him. Even better than her idea of being closer, if she held on to him she certainly wouldn't lose him. He was so much brighter than she. There were things that he understood that she couldn't begin to dream of understand and, if it wasn't for the fact she hated to be a burden, perhaps he would've been able to explain to her the problems that she'd been having. They were delusions, bloody monsters and shadow beasts, but Nox didn't know that they weren't real. Flicking an ear lightly, she pushed the thoughts from her mind, closing her own small fingers around her brother's middle and index finger, holding them gently.

"Yea-ya-yeah!" She managed finally, her voice coming out just a bit louder than it usually did. She gave a quick wag of her tail at the idea also, only to further show her excitement over his idea. Sometimes Nox was embarrassed because she talked so differently from everyone else and, even though she knew Zadi didn't care about her different speak, she'd grown accustom to not saying much at all. "May-may-maybe t-t-they only li-like cer-ce-certain places!" She exclaimed in her small voice, giving his fingers a quick squeeze. However young and innocent Nox seemed, she understood that sometimes Zadi did things just to make her happy, and she loved him all the more for it.
