Finals week is over. Should be back on schedule with posting. This one is rather short, hopefully that won't trouble anyone.
Delwyn's ears perked up at a new word: "human". He could tell through context that they were something relatable to, but NOT, wolves. He quickly lost track of that train of thought when an exciting realization came to Delwyn's mind. Looking from his father to Ty and back, he rapidly began formulating the best way to phrase his thought:
"Papa... you and Ty are both warriors, aren't you?" he began carefully, "because I was thinking, maybe, if you felt like it, you two could teach me how to fight. The sooner I start learning, the sooner I'll be good at it." His tail wagged and any of the contrition he showed moments ago quickly melted away as his eyes gleamed with excitement.
