The pup was out and about. Even if Dawali had explained that he wasn't the pup's father it still hadn't gotten through Lotus's mind. He still thought of the red wolf as his dad. But who was he to know better? After all this was his first time seeing the growing of grass and other such plant life. And while that was exciting it also saddened him that the snow was gone. Now he couldn't blend in and sneak up on others anymore. With the loss of winter he also lost his advantage. But all of the flitting animals were enough to keep his mind off of such sad things. Then again he found himself easily distracted.

Like how he went from chasing after a bug to go see what the howl was about. He was a curious little tyke after all. And well, he wanted to know who was yelling and what was being yelled about. It didn't sound like anyone that he knew but with the new faces that had popped up there wasn't many that he did know. He knew his Mommy and his Daddy and a couple more that lived here and another one that didn't live here but fought crabs. Oh, and there was another pup that lived far away. How was that for three months of life? But as he trotted over he realized that he didn't know this one at all.

That didn't stop him from heading right on over. He hadn't learned the fear of strangers yet. So it was with a gleeful wag of his tail that he headed right on up to whom he would find out was the new leader. He made to stand on his hindpaws to make himself taller, trying to look like everyone else here that walked around on two legs, and to place his forepaws against the other’s leg to help him keep his balance if it would be allowed. “Hi there Mister! Are you looking for my Daddy!?” As was stated before he did believe Dawali to be his father despite it being false. And he knew of Dawali staying near the spot where this stranger was standing.
