He felt almost guilty for going behind most of the pack’s back, but it could not be avoided. One wrong step and things could easily turn out for the worst and Dahlia would truly be split up and dead then. This was a choice that he had forced himself to make. The future was as clouded as ever. This was far more dangerous and risky than anything he had ever done in his relatively short life.

But he had to try.

There were four of them. Three males and the one female that had stumbled into the meeting when the truth was revealed by pure chance. Chance, yes, of course it was Tokyo. Her reaction had not been anticipated and now she was the small group’s little reinforcement. Hopefully things would go smoothly and silently. No one would have to be hurt. The war had to stop and the tyrant responsible for it all had to be thrown off the throne. Conor had told them everything. About everything that was known about the first Dahlian war and then the second war. While Inferni was far from innocent, they had not been the one to massacre animals by the borders and placing deadly traps around the outskirts of the territory in order to harm both members and visitors. Haku Soul had done all these things, and this was certainly only the top of the iceberg. The man was deranged. He was dangerous.

Now the three members were standing outside of the building while Conor confidently walked into the open door and into the mouth of the beast. It was a hard thing to decide what was right and wrong in the world, but this felt so right. Conor ached for safety and peace in his home and Haku jeopardized everything. And for what? The yearling’s nose wrinkled as the foul stench of death met him. Lilac eyes widened slightly, but the male continued until he was standing in a ravaged living room. The large beast in the corner stirred and pierced him with its brilliant blue gaze. A colour that should have held only good, the golden male thought. It was strange that this beast had given him life. ”Father. This has to stop.” The Rosen’s fur was soiled by dark red and brown. Conor did not want to guess whose life liquid it was. He was certain it had once belonged to another canine.
