They had been lucky, there wasn’t much doubting that. She couldn’t and wouldn’t deny it, but she wouldn’t count their blessings either. Inferni had such a long history with misfortune, even though it seemed that things hadn’t really started to roll until the years past. Things had mounted such an attack that it wasn’t too much of a surprise that someone had the gall to come after them. Dahlia de Mai was of course, that brave. It was more like Inferni to set fire to things, more specifically like her family to be capable of such things, yet the fire had been turned on them.
