Unfortunately for her, Princess was an incredibly unobservant creature when she was focused on something else, as she was at that point in time. The young woman was far too interested in getting home quickly so that she could show Haven all of her new and pretty dresses. She was not pay attention to her surroundings, as she knew the quickest route home and did not have to think about it as she moved. This allowed her the freedom to let her thoughts wander as they were, but it also made it very difficult for her to notice the strange male until he was standing in front of her. Princess started, surprised by the seemingly sudden appearance of the stranger. The growl that he gave did nothing to ease the wrenching feeling in her gut, as well. She did not know who he was or why he was there, since he did not smell like Cour des Miracles, but she especially did not like him growling at her.
Lifting her chin in a haughty manner, Princess looked down at him warily. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?" The male did not belong here, she was sure, but his presence did not frighten her. The growl should have accomplished that, but she was too stubborn, too headstrong to see that. The female held her dresses closer to herself, as if that could protect her from whatever the silent male was thinking about. Really, she wanted to continue on her way to get her dresses back safely and without dirtying them, but he was standing in her way and it did not seem like it would help to try and move around him. He had put himself in her path the first time, and he could do it again. The pile of clothes in her arms made it difficult for her to move quickly.
