In short, Princess was completely terrified. Her demands that he stop what he was doing went unanswered and unheeded, and her yelling for anyone in the area went similarly. It seemed that there was no one around to help her, and she was unable to help herself. Not only did she not know what this beast wanted with her, she felt completly alone and defenseless. She had never believed harm could come to her, but that feeling was gone now that she was at the receiving end of whatever this was. It was an attack, but he wasn't trying to kill her, she didn't think. "Go away!" she shrieked once more with more conviction, deciding that it was going to be the final warning that she gave him. It obviously hadn't worked any of the other times she had tried and it probably wouldn't work now.

Then, she screamed, a high-pitched and piercing sound that came from deep within. Princess was scared and she did not know what to do now, and it did not seem like anyone had heard her yelling. Hopefully someone would hear her scream—she did not care who it was, as long as it was someone that would save her from whatever was happening. The arm underneath her was still twisted and in pain, but it did not occur to her to try and alleviate that pain. Her other arm was clutching desperately at her chest, trying to salvage some of her dignity by not allowing him to rip at the fabric any more, but she knew it was not working. Her new dress was in shreds now, and she was being exposed to the beast that had attacked her, and she did not know what to do. She screamed again, desperately trying to draw attention to herself and her attacker.
