Her voice never rose whenever the coyote clan gathered. She loved Kaena and every knotted witness of cruel deeds that was portrayed all over her body, but her own body was still smooth and beautiful. She was ashamed because she was relieved. Did this mean she still was the shallow girl from the past, love of war and death subtracted?
