In a child's mind you find sunshine

Toefur was back in her life and arms again. Spring had returned to her and Baby Duck had a lot of babies that were super cute! She was somewhat troubled by the increased hostility in her beloved child, but she was allowed to hold and pat them, so all was good! Today Baby Duck and the babies in the pond close to the den that the young Aston girl had claimed, and Noir was dancing through the forest with her favourite octopus plushie friend in her arms. Spring was here, spring was here, spring was here and there and everywhere, hurray! Happiness was such a wonderful thing and Noir was full of it.

It was not uncommon that the light hued girl ran aimlessly around in the pack lands without a destination. She ran because it felt good to run and she smiled because it felt good to smile. She would peer at the flowers blooming and pat the trees as they slowly worked to turn green again. Soon Dawali would probably want to put seeds into the field and she was really looking forward to that. She and her sister had done that last year. The young woman’s mind seldom found its way to her absent siblings these days. It somewhat saddened her – it was important to remember one’s family.

Noir crouched down and picked up a dry stick. She held on to it for a moment before she threw it away as hard as she could. She waited for the piece of wood to settle on the forest floor on some distance before she took the pink toy and tossed it in the same direction as the stick. ”Fetch, Toefur!”
