Eima gave a small smile as she dropped the first seed into the hole that she had dug moments ago. She hadn't done much planting in her life, but was there really anything you needed to know? All you had to do was: dig a hole, drop the seed in the hole, cover the seed up with dirt and then move on to the next one. It was mindless, easy work really since there was no thinking or problem solving involved with it. She didn't see why some wolves complained about having to plant a few seeds. It was enjoyable really after all the months of cold being able to just be out here in the sun was enjoyable and making yourself useful made it even better.

Eima covered the tomato seed up with dirt and moved on to the next one, quickly digging a small hole and then dropping another seed in it. She wished she had done more planting with her mom when she was alive. It would have been a nice way to spend time with her but it was to later now since her mother was now laying under the ground in the cave they had used as a den for as long as she could remember. Her mom had liked in there in the cave since it had stayed about sixty degrees all year round, but there had been a few times where her mother had wanted to move into something more modern, but they had never got around to it.

Eima quickly covered the tomato seed and moved over to the next spot digging a little hole for the third time. At least now she could plant without always looking over her shoulder for her dad who, after him and her mom had got in a fight, promised that he would come back and kill them one day. She wasn't sure why he had gotten so made. him and her mom had gotten in fights all the time but Eima had been very young at the time and there was probably something more behind the many arguments that she didn't see do to her age.

Eima moved over a little to the next spot and began planting the last of the tomato seeds. All that was in the past now and she didn't have to worry about her father or mothers death any more now that she was in her new home. Now she could sit back and relax doing her everyday jobs and what she loved like taking care of the horses and even being out here in the field planting tomato seeds that would feed the pack for months to come.

She slowly stood up dusting of her legs and hands as she looked down at her work. Before her where four little bumps on the ground where she had planted the seeds and where they would grow to be large tomato plants that would give her and the tribe tomatoes to eat for the year.
