Arachnea's Revenge. OH EM GEE~ (331)

The sun had begun its steady descent toward the horizon, steadily falling closer and closer to its demise. The sable-furred woman did not eagerly await nightfall—to Eris, it made no difference whether it was night or day. Each was capable of concealing or revealing mysteries, and each held its advantages. Woman was the moon, and man was the sun—of course, clearly the moon was superior in beauty and functionality, but the sun was not without purpose, either. Though Eris subscribed to the notion of female superiority, of course, she was not keen to forget all of the Atotoztli teachings. While they were absolutely clear in their notion of woman being the better of two parts, they did not always minimize the value of men. Eris was glad for this—she was completely uninterested in the female sex, and she was glad that the society she had been raised in did not discriminate too heavily.

Then again, she had not entertained any close friendships, male or female, since she had left Eterne. Dieriel was the closest thing she had to a friend while under the chains of slavery—the woman had snuck her out of those very chains, risking her life to save the woman she thought was her nephew. Eris wondered if she'd ever see her false aunt again—she wondered if Dieriel was caught, she wondered if the woman had saved her only to become ensnared in the very same fate herself. She had only been here in Inferni one day, and she had no idea how to navigate this land. This was not the beach she had been born onto, she knew that—it was completely foreign territory.

The sable-furred woman meandered in and out of the claimed lands, heading deeper into the forest surrounding their territory. She was scarely even aware she'd meandered away from clan lands—the shadow-hued Tirones was not familiar with her own home territory yet, let alone the rest of the lands.

Table thanks to Vieira!
