Oh, hello, this be odd post!

The shadows provided him with shelter; obeying their master like the rest of the world soon would. Glittering blue sapphires had watched the two women and warm brown ears had heard their words. He had sentenced them both to death, but unexpected things had cast a different light on his perspective. The pale girl had turned away and the blood seeping into his conscience was very real and delicious as always. He recognized the blood pulsing within her and caught the fragrance of Tayui. And himself. For a man free from the cold grip of madness, this revelation would have mattered. The dark woman’s claws had tasted blood and Haku too silently wondered why this was. Intrigued as always when he met a new evil, Haku’s role was about to change. He had heard the woman’s soft words when the younger did not, and the beast grinned with large, decaying fangs designed to kill.

He moved swiftly while the woman took the time to steal the life from the fat bird pecking at her. Clawed secui paws drummed against earth like thunder, and he closed in on her from his position on her far left. It was no problem for the man to catch up with the panicked optime, and when the time was right he swirled around and used his immerse form to throw her to the side and down to the forest floor. Then he was on top of the smaller form and she was truly her mother’s daughter. Tayui’s eyes had held interesting colours, but this girl’s eyes were like Melisande’s; coated with honey and liquid gold. So pretty. A crack sounded from the girl’s side as his weight crushed down on it. A clawed paw pressed her dazed face into the grass. So, so pretty she was.

The demon’s gaze turned to the black woman approaching and his focus followed. He did not know this Ometeotl, but his father downstairs had many names and forms. He saw Kaena in her. Already, he desired her.
