It made most sense to post first with Haku.
His terrible gaze was from this moment on glued on the dark creature. He reminded her of Lillith, the unfaithful whore that had been supposed to follow him through the fire. She had slid into the shadows and he had sent his dark creatures after her. He wanted to taste the Stormbringer’s blood and draw her soul out while her body still writhed in pain unimaginable for any mortal. The jagged edges of his exposed jaws sneered silently at the dark beauty. However, this woman was not Lillith. She was someone else, and how intriguing she was! She was pulsing – her blood was aching for him; calling for his flesh. He felt his pitch black soul reel towards her and his body wanted to follow. The mortal under him moved and he rewarded the rising hand with a powerful rake of blackened claws. His focus was forced away from the woman as the blood’s scent danced through the air.
He was about to end that life there and then, but soft words caused him to hesitate. Of course this was his prize. That terrible blue returned to the woman and a rumbling sneer gently shook the air around the large secui. The sound died the moment the rest of her words reached his sensitive ears. There was no lie hiding within the woman’s form and the male was willing to give her a chance before doing the same thing to her as he had done to her mother. Kaena had cleverly avoided him, but she could not hide from the inevitable. The scarred beast turned to the angelic form pinned to the ground by his weight and was filled with irony before his fangs found her silky throat and stole her life from her.
He did not even know her name, but watched the girl die and blood spread in a crimson halo around her head, all while resisting the earth to feast on her unnaturally pure blood. Such innocence was not meant for this world. All in all, he had done her a favour.
