The coyote’s weak eyes fled from him, but Haku had no intention of allowing the man to flee. The man made the most foolish choice there could be, and the secui’s body fell into motion with ease, anticipation rippling through his cocoa hued figure. Coyotes were agile by nature, but optime was rarely found to match a secui’s speed. Clawed paws thundered against the soft forest ground in silent pursuit of the fleeing flesh. He hungered. Jaws opened wide as he drew closer, ready to snap and tear after delicious flesh.
