Stevie pranced through the undergrowth with a frown distorting her baby face. She had no idea where she was and she knew her coat was covered in mud and dirt changing the color to an eye hurting grey. Though what bothered her was the blood dripping from her ravaged ear. It had hurt immensely when the large creature had come at her. Being the little shit that she was, she’d gotten out of the situation by hiding in the undergrowth and later running.
Blood made a trail down her shoulder, a little more than half of her left ear had been ripped off. Stevie didn’t dare shed a tear instead the child lifted her chocolate head and held her mouth into a taunt line. Bright yellow eyes looked around her and then up as the first rain drop fell on her little head. A growl emitted from her small maw, breaking the taunt line from her face.
Only six months old and she was already disfigured and orphaned. Anger swelled in her breast. How dare her mother. Stevie felt her growl go even deeper into her chest. What was she going to do now? With blood still swelling from her ear she moved to the nearest group of trees and took shelter from the rain, the mud started to slip from her chocolate coat.
