Hands to build a house; Hearts to build a home

The first half of the day was long and hot. Heath pulled the horses, pushing them past what he was comfortable with just as Anann called them for a break. He watched as the others placed axes down and gathered to retreat down to the stream. Heath began with Rem and loosened the straps that kept him tied to the logs, and as he worked to free the stallion Anann approached him. The Marshal gave a nod, "I thinks things have gone smoothly". Heath gave a slight laugh, Hes been fine, he knows this is for you. the joke was light and made the male chuckle slightly. He followed Anann to the stream after the horses' harnesses had been taken off. Without that job Heath was unsure what he would be doing next, but at least he had the break to figure it all out. Despite the small follies Heath had thought the the progress that they had made was more then expected. Keeping the horses on track was not as strenuous as throwing an ax, but he still held an ache in his muscles. Without another word he took a deep drink from the stream and took a piece of jerky for himself. Siting among the other works he waited for someone to start up the conversation, knowing it certainly wouldn't be him.
