Oh, he had built up a sweat. It was hard work and it was pretty hot doing this under the sun, even if it had not been all that long. Even with the trees nearby and a water source close, it did not dull the soft ache that was beginning to develop in his arms at the end of the day. His arms had not been worked nearly as well as his legs had been in the weeks past, and little demanded he use upper body strength out here on land. On a boat, he would have had to deal with keeping lines taut, furling and unfurling sails, and then all the other lifting and pulling needed on board a sea vessel. Occasionally, he felt weak desire to work beside the woman for whom this house was for, but he had sense enough to know those were distracting thoughts. Working with sharp tools and having distracting thoughts was not the most intelligent combination.

At last, they took a full break, rather than a few moments for themselves to get a few drinks of water and a few minutes of cool shade. Patting the part of the house they already constructed, the Russo followed the woman, eyes darting to his family to see that they were fine. He, like Heath and Anann, took some of the jerky, though forgo the stream. Though, he paused as the woman sat herself down in the shade. Where would he sit? And why did he suddenly care? Mentally shaking his head, Anatoliy sat beside Anann, though a few hand spans away, but still in the shade. "Vhat kind of stories are you vanting? Of zhings zhat have happened to us or of fairy tails?" He had a few of both, though he was sure his father had better ones to tell.
