However, one bit did cause his ears to perk up a bit. "A... vhale?" he repeated, trying to think of what that was. Frankly, he could not fathom what a "vhale" was, but it was apparently something that a canine could befriend. Perhaps it was a small animal, like the ones he knew that some of the pack's members kept as pets, or perhaps it was something like a horse. Many members kept them, as well, the King included.
Vigilante nodded good-bye to Rurik as the man left, then focused his attention once more on Ashkir. It was respectable that he was willing to admit that he was not good at something—most only spoke of their skills, not their weaknesses. It was also very obvious to the secui male that the newcomer enjoyed speaking a great deal. The pack was accepting of just about everyone, and being friendly would certainly help him become integrated into the pack's way of life quickly. "You seem like someone who would be a good addition to the pack," he said. "Did you want to call for your friend now, or wait? We do not need to go anywhere, unless you wish to. Did you have any questions about the pack?"
