Haku had been born from love and received with joy. He had been born into a pack where most were family through blood. Things had looked so promising back then. Until his mother brought evil to her home and allowed the child to be swallowed by the darkness that eventually had swallowed him Colibri had realized her mistake too late, and too few had realized the advancing evil in disguise before it was too late. There was nothing left of the young boy that once had lived in this body. Flesh could lie no more, but camouflage was no longer needed. He knew this circle well, and he would continue to play with the lives of these mortals until the world was veiled in eternal darkness. The devil had not been there at the beginning, but he knew that he would see the end. He would hear their cries and laugh.

Triumph ran vividly through his distorted features as the Aquila’s failing pushed topple them both over. Gabriel’s back collided against the rocky ground. Haku’s weight came along, crushing the doggish hybrid down into the dirt. Adrenaline raged through exhausted veins, sending a rush of blood to the head. He was overly confident, positive that this nemesis of his would never again get up. Wood cracked miserably as the secure jaws continued to tear away on the one obstacle currently keeping him from tearing up his opponent’s face. Throat rumbled victoriously as the wooden spear split in half. Blood flooded his mouth along as a fragment of a tooth, but Haku’s senses were already flooded. He only knew of his body’s craving and acted; crimson painted teeth aiming for the Aqulia’s face.
