The response rose as the stranger’s call faded. Shortly after, the coin hued alpha entered the scene. With curiosity gleaming in the gentle lavender hue, he extinguished the remaining distance between himself and the younger male quickly and without hesitation. Confidence was something that had been allowed to pulse and grow as his time as Dahlia’s alpha continued. There had existed seas of doubt in the beginning, but it seemed he was slowly learning to live comfortably with the weight of leadership on his broadening back. Tail suggested dominance, but the yearling’s face expressed nothing but that subtle curiosity merging together with his natural kindliness.

        
He recognized the scent with ease, and was surprised. It was far from often that he saw Phoenix Valley members stalk about so far from their territory. It seemed to be a homely pack, and this was the first time he had detected that scent outside the lands where it belonged. It was clear that there was a purpose here though. ”Greetings, young Valley wolf,” he offered quietly, cocking his head slightly as he spoke. This could be interesting. "I'm the Alpha of this pack. What can I do for you?” He saw the bulging satchel in the youth's possession, but it did not have to mean anything.
