Set at Lenape River
Wc: 401

"Etiam sit amet lacus sem, vitae dignissim massa."

It had been a while since Ghita had set forth around Crimson Dreams' vast territory. Due to her leg injury, she had largely stuck close the manor, forming close bonds with the members that way, and especially Anu, but today was different. She could feel the stirring in her bones, the need to get up and move, unhindered by a walking stick. The heat had been creeping in through the manor as well, no doubt stirring herds of prey to take to the meadows to graze, but the to-be-courser had to take a step back from her Co-Rank aspirations, and instead opt to hone her drawing skill.

But the need to move never left the nomad, and that's how she found herself hobbling with her walking stick (she was independent, she was stubborn, but not stupid; her body was talking to her, screaming for relief, and so her wooden support clonked beside her), having left early in the morning and set out for the more treacherous of the territories - Lenape River. The destination was set in stone, carved into her mind, more as a challenge for her recently broken body and endurance of the soul.

She'd missed stretching her body to the limit, the pain and bliss that came with her extended endurance as her muscles stretched and sang to the earth. She'd missed moving, plain and simple, and being out and about on her own two legs as best she could. The fae had grown lazy with hanging around the house, and so it had taken her until almost dusk to reach the wooden canopy of the river. Precariously balancing her walking stick on the way to the bank, it was there that the timber-coloured Italian fae watched the river, balancing back with her arms to support herself.

Deep in a reverie of aimless thought, her mind wandered along a path of pointless meandering, stopping at her mate, her pups, and her nieces and nephews - both the first and second litter. Kansas and Savina were heaven blessed, that much was certain - and the whole pack was too, especially with Anu's new litter. None had perished recently, and that was a blessing for the tightly-knit pack. Her thoughts started out choppy, leaping from topic to topic, but settled down soon enough as Ghita lent her mind to the river, almost drifting off to sleep under the cover of dusk.
