Yet another day passed, and his parent’s hadn’t come for him. It’d been almost six days, that was forever! Denali was starting to feel the gloom of the reality he was about to face… his parents might never ever come. His thoughts had been jumbled around though when he heard something in the distance. It sounded like it was coming from that big building, what had Savina called it again? Oh a mansion. He moved toward it, the sound it was so strange to his ears yet the sound was pleasant, the pup moved closer and heard it louder, there was no explanation for the sound he was hearing right now, and he doubted what he saw would explain it any better. He was right, there he was nearing the porch where a dark wolf sat, he was like his parents were sometimes, sitting up on his rump rather than his four paws… why couldn’t Denali do that? He’d been told about it a while ago, but he was still confused, anyway…. He saw there was some weird thing in one hand and a stick with a string in the other… well the one hand did look like it might have been a really think stick with lots of strings… this didn’t explain the sound that was coming out of the thing what so ever. how did it do that? What was the wolf doing with it anyways? He knew it was pleasant sounding , but that didn’t mean that was the wolf’s intentions.

He was well aware that this was a stranger, one who seemed to be a part of the pack itself. Which meant that he had no cause for conscern. That’s what Savina said, the pack would take care of him… and boy were there a lot of wolves, he was sure that if a coyote came here, he wouldn’t have time to hurt anyone!
