Maybe we can backdate this a few days? o: wc:354

The weather outside seemed perfect to Ehno. For the past week the air appeared to content to linger somewhere between cool and warm and light, wispy clouds danced across the bright blue sky. More of the fluffy white clouds had drifted in today to cover the sky and dampen the sun’s bright rays without the threat of imminent rain. During the two years already spent in Nova Scotia, summer had quickly become his favorite season. The moderate summer days could remind him of home, at times. The sight of today’s calm, overcast skies, combined with the slight, lazy breeze that drifted in through the open window in his workshop had convinced Ehno to take his work outside for the day.

Larger projects had taken up much of the free time he set aside for his carpentry as of late, but today he decided something small and fun would be the perfect way to pass the time. He had begun with only a few small blocks of wood and a couple of the smaller carving blades he had managed to gather over the months. The idea for this project was one obtained long ago, back when he had started working on the first of many carpentry tasks. The Marino had been trying to put together a miniature model of the Manor together back then, when the young Mati had stumbled upon him. He recalled her mentioning the idea of creating little versions of Crimson Dreams members to go along with it, and it seemed like the just the thing to take up now to clear his head and enjoy the beautiful summer day.

Set up off to one side of Haven Manor’s front porch, the Italian man had spent the majority of the morning carving out four basic little figures of wolves in various poses, at the moment devoid of any distinguishing details that would set them apart individually. He finished smoothing out the wood on the tail of the fourth figure and set it down beside the other three, a small smile crawling to his lips at the sight of his work in progress.
