LOL DANGIT I POSTED AS XERIS AGAIN. Aaaaaaaaagh sorry for being so late, I promise I will try not to do that again in the future <_< I'm just starting my first year of college so I had some major adjustments to make!

Xion had heard the stranger before she saw him; the sound of his voice was not something she had expected to hear out in the middle of this forest. The white-furred wolfess looked up at the unfamiliar wolf who had spoken, tilting her head upward to look at his face clearly as he was rather tall. For now, she remained seated, enjoying the area too much to bother moving around. "Hello," she replied. "Would you like to come sit with me?" Despite being brought up with family that included such reckless members as Delwyn, a bit of her mother's politeness was still evident in Xion. And besides, perhaps she could make a new friend today. That was always an exciting thought, no matter how old the girl got.

She then remembered the spider, and quickly returned her eyes to the leaf-covered ground to search for it. Upon spotting the creature, she extended a hand and allowed it to crawl up her finger, its dark color contrasting sharply with the ivory of her fur. "Look at this," Xion said excitedly, holding her hand toward her new acquaintance. "I didn't know things with this many legs existed!" It was true, sadly; this was Xion's first time seeing a spider. She had seen a few insects before, but usually paid more attention to chasing them than how many appendages they had. Hopefully this wolf would find her discovery just as interesting as she did.
