The mated pair had decided to take a small excursion from their home and family this day. Despite the overcast skies, they had set out past the familiarity of their territory into the rolling hills and rocky, steep shores of the Trenches. It had been a while, since they had had some quality time to themselves without their young pups. Savina knew that neither she nor Kansas would ever wish their three little blessings away, but being a parent to rambunctious pups could be tiring. Especially with Artemis, being much more of a handful than either of them had experienced before. It was nice to get out and away, sharing the small world that they made for themselves and consisted of only them.
The further they moved from Crimson Dreams territory, the more she felt the weight of leadership lift from her shoulders and she became increasingly playful, almost puppy-like. A distinctive glint was in her emerald eyes as she suddenly bounded forward, daring her pale other half to chase after her swift form. The cool winds whipped past and over her sable form and she exalted in the freedom of running before stopping abruptly to try and startle her mate. The Italian fey rose up on her hind legs, her forepaws batting at him like a lovestruck youth. She wasn't entirely a youth anymore, but Savina was always lovestruck when it came to the Sadira male. He held her heart wholly and completely, and she knew that he always would.
