There were still times that it surprised her, that there was someone like Kansas that could be so enamored of her, love her so much. He was the first male in her entire life to ever look at her with any sort of interest. No one in Italy ever had. Deep down, she knew it likely had a lot to do with her semi outcast position back in Monti Sabini. No "upstanding" parents in that pack would have ever wanted their son to be with her. Tradition and proper decorum were paramount there and left little room for emotions to lead the way. So when she had come here, and found him, their attraction had hit her like an avalanche. It seemed so unreal, too blissful to be possible. Yet here he was, and here they were. Just as happy and in love as the first day they had met.

It would be interesting to see how not only their children, but the pack as a whole would react to seeing their Commander acting this way. The notion didn't worry her though. She trusted Crimson Dreams, each member was like family in bond, even if not in blood. No doubt they would all want in on the play, but Savina was happy it was just the two of them. Each couple needed these moments of solitude where they could let everything else go. As she grabbed his ear she heard his growl, and matched it with one of her own. That changed to sounds of laughter though as her paws hit their intended marks and he rolled over onto the ground, vainly trying to keep her assault at bay. As one of his creamy paws pushed against her chest she mouthed his foreleg, pulling on it a little. Then, without warning, she plopped herself on top of him, tail waving triumphantly as their faces met. "You don't mess with the master without facing defeat," she said coyly as her pink tongue licked his nose.
