there's a storm in the sky

Lucia had destroyed their precious time together instantly. Just a few words had needed to roll off her poisonous tongue to allow the magic of this couple's happy day to fall into ruins. Watching them closely, it became apparent that it was the sable-furred female who held all the cards in this relationship, for she seemed to possess all the brute strength, and from her knowing silence, maybe the brains as well. Smiling coolly to herself, Lucia lifted heavy paws and made her way closer to the strangers in front of her. Each paw fell with a thud, crushing shrubbery and stone like it never existed – not a care in the world, well... not for anything other than herself anyway.

Keeping her malachite coals fixed on the silent female, Lucia's tassel rose above her – marking her disrespect for star-crossed lovers, and her belief that she may actually be superior to them. That, in reality, was not the case. Lucia, though a pure-bred wolfess, did not hold any ranking of any significance. She was the lowest rank in her clan; an outsider. She was a wolf commanded by coyotes, and though she had once viewed it as perfectly fine ('love conquers all'), her lack of love from Snake during recent times had distorted her once happy picture. She now felt alone, abandoned – and to deal with such issues, the obsidian female had taken to destroying those happy moments of the ones around her. She had become destructive, self-destructive – almost psychotic. It was only a matter of time until the female snapped, and if the fuse was placed right, it wouldn't be too much longer now.

“You're excused....”
Lucia's mocking tone hissed through her pearly canines, the toxic gaze wandering over the couple slowly. She was concentrating, trying to figure out who would make the first move. Her instincts told her it would be the female, for she had the greater brawn, and the look of a methodical thinker – the ones to watch. However, having been disfigured by her thoughts and nightmares, and being torn apart by Snake's disappearance, she could be wrong. After all, even the greatest make mistakes once in a while, right?

“Oh, what a lovely, lovely day... Wouldn't you agree?” She smiled, though her face lay blank. There was nothing to read on the ebony outsider, no body language to figure out her reasons for being here. She was a ghost, almost imaginary. She could have been fake – the rest of the world is. “Such a great day to meet somebody new! ...Oh, lets play a game.” She paused, flicking her tail almost playfully, and stepping closer to the couple. Her paws hit the ground in unison, though her eyes didn't move. She couldn't help the smirk which had crawled over her face like a drunken spider spinning a web. There was something moving in her face, something dangerous – and it was that violent sparkle in her motionless gaze which screamed danger to those around her. Whether this couple would read the signs, or whether they would try and face it – the situation was unpredictable. All that was for certain was that Lucia had begun to feed off the atmosphere, sucking up the adrenaline like it was a drug. She wanted to feel the high again, and chase that dragon. She wanted to create chaos, and hurt others like she hurt. She was mad.

“You two lay on your backs, and I'll rip your throats out – sounds fun, eh?”
