She seemed uncertain, but he wanted to believe. The young alpha merely nodded, wishing for nothing but to help encouraging her to believe that this was the right decision to come back to the place where she had been born. There were memories here, but they could not all be tainted with her sorrow. Lavender eyes wandered away from her form when it was made clear that Emwe was not coming back. He did not believe in her words entirely, for he believed that he knew his brother. This was a fact he had to accept and get past. His cinnamon and cream head nodded slowly, though the topic was quickly changed. It was alright, he would not question her out. It was not time for that. Perhaps Vesle would open up in time.

Her words brought the warmth in his smile back. ”Yes, we’ve had a lovely summer,” he replied. The heavy fragrances of flowers lay in an invisible veil over the pack lands. It had been a beautiful season. She had missed out on it, but he believed that it had been good for her. ”Everyone will be happy to see that you’re back, Vesle,” he then continued, eager to have her cross the invisible line and be part of Dahlia de Mai. ”Your room is still available if you want to move in with us again, but,” the male smiled. She was no longer a small child. Perhaps she did not want to live together with them anymore in the house. ”if you want to settle elsewhere, we’d understand.”
