Set at the Manor. :3
Wc: 573

The day was beginning to draw to a close, the sun painting the periwinkle sky with it's last breaths of purple, pink, and orange, casting a lukewarm glow on the land. The ebony shadows grew long beneath Ghita's feet as she sat on the porch, taking advantage of the clear day to watch the sunset from somewhere other than her room. The nomad had grown even more restless as of late than normal, causing the fae to wander Crimson Dreams' territories even more, the fae beginning to be able to navigate her new home in her sleep alone.

But just because the fae felt the need to wander more and obeyed this deep desire didn't mean that her movement had become any easier. Even after all this time since Old Red had collapsed on her and her pack, her knee still hadn't healed fully. The injury still forced her to walk with a limp, more pronounced depending on the distance or the weather. Walking with a cane or walking stick helped her greatly, but injured a whole other side of her; her pride.

That's why part of her was relieved when she had lost her walking stick after playing with Alder, and another part was chastised. It was hard for Ghita to accept that she truly needed a walking stick now, although that might just be best for her healing. The agouti fae still could maneuver well without it, although running in her Secui and Lupus forms were easier than her Optime. The fae had done her best to hide her discomfort from her friends and family, as her pride dictated, but those who knew her well could easily see through the facade.

In the time her thoughts had taken to whisk her away, the sun had finally slipped behind the horizon, leaving nothing but the remnants of light and shadows to the land she knew well - and had to admit she had grown to love. Standing up with a little bit of effort, the light wind tugged at her ocean blue sarong which hung over her slight frame, the Optime fae maneuvered herself up the few stairs that hugged the porch, quietly slipping into the house like a wounded shadow.

Breathing deeply, the fae instantly divided all of the scents of the Crimson Dreamers apart, seeking out the one particular one she was searching for. Ehno's scent was mixed in with the rest, but not immediately apparent - he hadn't passed by here too recently, but that didn't mean that he wasn't in the Manor. Her brother was one of the best Carpenters in this pack, and the others she knew of, and the fae knew that he was skilled in woodworking. Ages ago, he had given Amata a toy made by his own hands that the girl had cherished for some time afterwards.

There was no one she trusted more to help her find another, long-term walking stick. It would have to be durable and solid, if her training with Marcus would be effective, but that didn't mean that Ghita could use just any stick she picked up off the ground. If she was going to have to use this stick for a while, the fae wanted to enjoy it. Peeking her head around the doorway of the main room, her voice called lightly out to her brother, wondering if he was in the manor at all. "Ehno? Are you here?"
