Just as the brute was about to go for another shove at the other male, a voice rang out through his ears. A growl rumbled in his chest, but he managed to swallow half of it back down. That commanding voice demanded that he cease and it was not the voice of someone he would dare to disobey here. Jutting his head level in the direction of the call, Anatoliy saw that he had better back down if he wanted to keep on breathing. His golden eyes seemed to be calmer now, now that there was no choice but to stop his actions, even as they darted from the silvery blade to the face of the incoming male. There was definitely a rank difference here, even though the rank difference between Anatoliy and Niro accounted for little.
Backing up away from Niro, the Russo just watched Haven approach. He was now very aware of the pain in his face and in his ear, and in the cuts on his leg. It hurt to move his right ear something fierce; he wondered how badly ripped it was. Truly he hoped it was not too bad.
Selfish.., came the single word in his head, forcing the Russian man to turn his gaze upon his victim. His look did not change, but he began to feel a bubble of guilt. Niro seemed to be bleeding anew if not from new wounds. Was that his fault? It had to be, even if it was hard to remember what it was he had done. But this was for the honor of his family, of his sister. It had to be done. "Yes?" he asked softly, not meeting the angry eyes of the Seneschal. He had every right to be angry; a fight had started on the lands he helped protect. It was counter productive if the members were fighting. But Anatoliy did not yet completely regret his actions.
