The stranger, Anatoliy, finally told her his name, and she was pleased to see his dour expression uplift, if not slightly, into a grin at her comment on his height. While she had not done it to garner laughs, it warmed Ralla to see a smile. And then, with his words trailing off, the sad face returned to the giant's muzzle. It made Ralla's own smile shift down, her ears following, as she thought closely on the sign of the butterfly and sky. Meloncholy... She took a leap of faith on her next inquiry: "So, who's the girl? Or guy?" She knew not what the stranger was so upset about, but her sign left little room for an overabundance of interpretation. If she was wrong, she would be surprised. Not many wolves looked so down and troubled as this one did if it were not for the attentions of a sweetheart.
Ralla quirked her head to the side again and stared into Anatoliy's eyes for an answer to the question, and she could see heartbreak. Oblivious as she was to her own emotions, she prided herself on reading others. Uncommonly were the emotions that danced behind a wolf's eyes clouded and unreadable, but it did happen. For Anatoliy... The fires of passion are dim within him now, and he is lost without direction. Would be better if he had been shown the Wayfarer sign more than I had seen it.
