Going Hunting

Sepirah was enjoying her little hunting game and didn’t wish for it to end after she got her first meal. She continued to wander around the waste in search of some more prey. It seemed there was something else in the air as she noticed a lot of prey running about. The chase was on again and again. The jackal couldn’t get enough of it and wished there was something else to chase. It would have been more fun if there was a helpless wolf or pup to chase. Then the fun and excitement would have sky rocketed. If only such a thing could happen.

Her hunting fun was cut short as a strange scent caught her nose in the wind. It didn’t smell like anyone she knew nor was it the scent of her pack. As she turned around, she noticed something coming towards her. It was way too big to be a wolf. The dark princess stopped as she noticed this thing coming towards her was a bear. This was bad. The hunter seemed to have now become the hunted. She was not meant to be the prey in the hunting game and was going to make sure it stayed that way.

Sepirah did notice the other wolf but she would not allow herself to get any help from anyone. She was too close to home to be embarrassed now. She let out a growl to the wolf and then to the bear. As the bear came closer into view, the jackal pondered what it was even doing out here. Aren’t most bears in the woods and away from the open areas? What was this one doing all the way out here? Either way, she would defend herself if she needed to. She didn’t need any help and she was not about to turn and run like some scared pup. The dark princess was brave and would not let a bear scare her. She began to crouch down, ready for an attack.
