If I was to leave, (AW)

What was the Spirit King to do today? He had not done much this month. Jefferson was sure to get angry at him. He had to gain in rank, to re-take the position he had as an honor before he dwindled. Maybe if Jefferson actually gave him a job to do, things would be different. However, he just had to find something that would get the leader's attention. Something big, something new, something... that doesn't seem to exist. What was causing the King to slack like this. If he remained like this, he would be out of the pack. He didn't want to leave Xeris like that. Just get kicked out, then wander off to some other place. This was against the Higher Spirit's principles. He would just have to find something to occupy.

Leaving his small cabin he and Xeris called home, the white male went to the barn. Maybe he could see if the livestock could do with some food. He wasn't sure if any of the other members had time to check the cattle. For all he knows, they haven't been fed yesterday. He would need to see if the grain troughs need more grain and the water trough was full. A simple task, but he hadn't been out lately for some reason. He needs to show more of his face around the back, otherwise, the Patriarch would have no reason to keep Pendzez anymore.
