The golden Dahlian was content with the reaction he was served. He watched the nameless stranger jump with surprise before the gaze found the alpha’s lavender one. The apology was quick to rise from the large male on the dirty floor, and Conor had to struggle not to instantly soften at the sound of shame and submission. Rynnas Oriel was recently accepted by a nameless Dahlian member. As the surname was spoken out, that purple gaze sharpened again. He knew he had somehow recognized the male. He was not Weilund or Elliot, but there was resemblance there regardless. The Alpha’s head slowly tilted to the side, quietly waiting for more words to come from the large male surrounded by various items.

He was sorry to discover that it seemed that this Rynnas was looking for someone long dead. He had witnessed Weilund’s soul digest the painful shock already, and he was afraid to see it again. Did the male know that his brother was long dead? ”He was,” the Soul male admitted quietly, voice much softer as he prepared to serve some truly bad news. ”Elliot passed away several months ago,” it was best to be bold, the coin hued male believed. Rather than beating around the bush, he ran straight at it and pushed his way through. Nothing could ease up the pain that flooded one’s emotions if a close friend or family member died. ”I’m sorry.” he then added, his tones genuine as everything else about him. Death was never pretty, and it was a shame if his brother learned about it just now.

He stepped closer to the seated form and sat down on the porch. If this male was indeed a Dahlian (and Conor did not doubt what he had claimed), there were several things he wanted to clear up now. But first they would have to talk about the dead.
