TADA. MAN I am out of practice.
WC: 440

Rynnas' head was still spinning as a result of the information Conor had given him. Like Eli, Kol was long gone. It was an interesting experience, the male discovered – to have his feet kicked out from under him once again. He had long since believed he was incapable of feeling any more pain, but here he was. He hadn't even known Kol, but after hearing Eli go on and on about her, he felt as if he did. And to find out that she, too was gone stung. The male moved quietly along the hallway with his eyes glued to the floor and his shoulders slumped in defeat. He wasn't sure what he believed when it came to death and whatever happened afterward – but a part of him desperately hoped that Eli and Kol were together. The thought of the two being reunited offered him a small amount of comfort. It didn't help him in his situation, he was still alone.

But now it seemed as if he was just chasing ghosts, or at least the memories of them. What was he supposed to do next? Rynnas hadn't even considered the possibility of Kol's death. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do now. Could he still learn about Eli from this Bris Conor told him about? Would it even be enough? The grieving male was beginning to believe that nothing was capable of numbing his pain, no matter how much he learned about the ones who left him. But what was he supposed to do now? Go back to Jasper Valley? Where he lost Eli in the first place? The thought caused him a great deal of pain- he couldn't return home. In order to move forward he'd have to stay away.

The massive male paused just outside the door Conor described at Bris'. He took a deep breath, suddenly nervous. As he always did when he felt overwhelmed, he went over the contents of his pack in his mind. Usually he would focus on the details, the memories of each item but in this hallway he merely paused to run through the list once. It was going to be awkward enough showing up out of nowhere to ask Bris such personal questions. He could only imagine how much worse it would be if she caught him lurking outside her door. Not only would that prevent him from even being able to talk to her, he was positive it would lead to Conor chasing him off the lands. No pack needed a pervert newcomer. So he took a deep, wavering breath and knocked on the door.
