he’d been moving around the city, though never entering it for a few days now. Shawchert was a very skeptical wolf when it came to things that were built larger than trees. He doubted any of the buildings were structurally sound, he’d seen a tree fall over just from the wind. He couldn’t imagine what would happen with a building of that size. He took a deep breath though, plucked up his courage and began walking in. he wasn’t sure why he was going in, other than he knew that this huge place… it had so many treasures in it that he shouldn’t pass up the opportunity. He walked in the now overgrown city, he could tell many different wolves had been here taking what they found. He wondered if there would be much left… but then he remembered the size of the city itself, there weren’t enough wolves to loot a city this size… yet. As he moved further in the signs of plant life didn’t change much he could tell they had been thicker at the beginning, but now it seemed a steady growth within the city itself. He did not have his flute to his lips this time, due to the uneasiness his body felt, he wouldn’t have been able to perform a good song with the jitters. He soon faced a store he knew he’d come to. He had been to one of these in another city, and had a great find, something he would cherish his whole life. He wondered if there was something in here that he could find, maybe for someone else? Maybe his pack he was hoping to form could play music all day. He smiled a that, as he thought of the pack his own father would disapprove of. He’d make sure he’d get further than just thought though. Shawchert was an ambitious wolf. He moved further into the store, and saw a few displays of old items. The displays were rotting or had weather damage from the broken window, or were eaten by termites, at least the wood, any metals mostly rusted away from the elements. He knew the best stuff was in the back but there was always something interesting that could still be of use right here.
