It wasn’t until the crimson gaze of the other man found the pale blue of Silas’ that the fire beneath the scars intensified. Since that day in the wintery months of the year prior, Silas harbored a great dislike (perhaps even loathing) of the former Hydra. For the past year he had remained rather successful in avoiding any contact with the other male, though that was not to say he had gone without seeing the other man. Clan priorities and duties had led Silas to come across evidence of Hybrid’s presence, but other than that, he had been spared interaction. It seemed as if today his luck had run out.

At the man’s angry words, Silas could feel the prickle of rising hackles. He tried his best to suppress his growing anger, and not once did he let his pace slow. He would not be thrown of course by Hybrid today – he would continue on his mission to Halifax, whether or not Hybrid liked it. Icy eyes, which often were somehow capable of portraying warmth, were nothing less than cold and hard now. He’d have to choose his words wisely, for he was smart enough to know a fight would end with Hybrid the victor. After all, Silas knew only the basics when it came to fighting, so even the combat knife fastened to his belt loop wouldn’t give him an entirely great advantage. Eyes narrowed as Silas offered one exaggerated nod, deep onyx locks bouncing around the blue of the bandana. "Unfortunately for you," came the rough accented reply, as Silas continued to draw closer to the male.
