He knew he should have not been amused by the situation, for it was proven that he was not much of a fighter. Their last encounter had left Silas with scars that still adorned his face, and he was sure if they were to tangle again that he would not leave empty handed. And yet, Silas could not prevent himself from smiling at Hybrid, amused by the anger his words had instilled in the Tesserarius. They were no longer in Inferni, so it was unlikely that anyone might come across them here. His chances of getting away unharmed were slim, but Silas trusted he’d leave a mark so long as he drew his weapon fast enough.
As Hybrid began to circle him, Silas too moved, making sure he was constantly facing the other male. He would not let his back become exposed, and his pale eyes constantly watched for a sign of attack. And then, Silas laughed, something almost as maniacal as Hybrid’s, only because he knew it would wear on the other’s nerves. "Respectful?" He spat in response. "You zhink a useless mutt like you vould ever be vorzhy of respect?" Only to intentionally add salt to his wounds, Silas trailed his words with more laughter. All the while, his hand awaited patiently hovering just inches away from his blade.
