The two watched each other’s movements with watchful eyes. Silas was no skilled fighter, but he was careful not to let a weak side become exposed. He knew Hybrid would jump at any opportunity to attack, and so he tried to remain vigilant in his searching for an indication of attack. It had never been in the stars for these two to get along, seeing as how their first encounter had ended on such a sour note. Silas would make no attempt to fix this, and it was clearly obvious Hybrid wouldn’t. And it seemed as if both were perfectly fine with that. They seemed to have developed a passion for hating each other. Silas was certainly getting a kick of out seeing Hybrid become agitated at his words. His Cheshire grin deepened at Hybrid’s expression.
His request was ludicrous and Silas allowed another laugh to rip from his throat. He knew that Hybrid was above him in ranking, but he would not submit to him. At least, not in the way that Hybrid was expecting. The two were outside of Inferni’s lands, and so Silas threw the clans rules to the wind. In the young Russian’s eyes, they were on equal ground. He would not submit to this asshole if his life depended on it. "Fuck off," Silas snapped in reply, his fingers twitching in anticipation of Hybrid’s impending attack and the need for his combat knife.
