A tail was a tail and the warrior wasn’t to worried about such a thing, if the ends justified the means. The wolf was rambling again about some self serving bullshit that he could care less about. Oh it would be fun to kill this freak and hang his hide across a tree, piss on it and move on. So as his form slipped closer, and he sensed the changes in the opponents stance, almost exactly how he wanted it. Such a proud mind, such a blind individual, this wasn’t his first rodeo fighting in this form, true he was much better sticking a sword deep in someone’s belly, watching them squirm, watching their eyes drain of life but this would be so much more exciting to bring down such a wolf. He was doing it again, Layla would be pissed, throwing himself into a situation that would undoubtedly leave him hurt and has to be taken care of again. He’d feel these wounds well on into his life, but for now the end justified the means. Those fangs held a grin as the other moved, going after his exposed tail, relying on his brute strength to be able to throw him. Again it was all a rouse, Saluce knew damn well he was much stronger then this brute thought he was, so a simple sign was all he needed.
His taunt sinew flexed as powerful trained muscles went to work, those claws extending to dig into the dirt, letting the other get his tail but it didn’t stop his jaws from lashing out toward his exposed hind quarters. If he was going to bite his tail and try to throw him, he would rip out the muscle that provided him a means of travel, and power. Saluce didn’t yelp, or groan, or growl, his silence was all that greeted the stranger, a simple lack of caring to reply to his chest thumping. Actions spoke much louder than words and in this instance, he’d trade a tail for a leg any day.
