It was the male who replied to her open question first. His voice was firm but gentle, and Alaine listened politely, her maw slowly blooming with a pretty smile that he would not be able to see. She had never thought of her trade that way - The collie-woman was a healer because she loved to bring peace to those who might need it, but never had she thought of her skills as miracle-worthy. Flattered, although she didn't even know the white wolf, Alaine let her palm rest absently on her belly. It was still mostly flat, and she was barely just showing the pregnancy at all yet, but that was the miracle; That her ruined womb could sustain life again.

Emerald eyes turned swiftly to the ivory lady, Ralla, and saw the woman's gaze scrutinizing her own form. Not expecting such a ponderous look, Alaine's smile faltered, but she thought little of it. Perhaps these wolves had never come across a dog before. She'd certainly met some of that likening, and they had stared aplenty.

"Alright, then, as you will it," The Apothecary said pleasantly, taking a few more steps towards Kemo. Because he was in Lupus form, she knelt before him on the long grass, resting her aching body on her heels. She placed the bag beside her on the ground, and immediately rifled through it for a most peculiar item; a shard of circular glass, with smooth edges. Ensuring that she was in the shade before beginning (because the sun magnified through the glass might potentially hurt the male's eye), she leaned towards him, holding the glass in one hand and gently cupping his face in the other. The glass magnified Kemo's face, giving her a much clearer view of his eye. As she made her inspection, Alaine chose to inquire about some of the male's curious earlier words. "You said you were led here... On a vision from the moon? What was this vision about, and how did you get it, exactly?"
