Today was one of Sanuye’s relaxing days. She hadn’t fully completed all of her work, but she was tired of spending countless days on all of her projects. The pasture was done for the most part and half of her ceremonial area was completed. She had yet to finish both of them and began work on decorating her new home. The coyote gave a small sigh as she crawled out of her den. Her back was a bit sore from having to lay on nothing but rock. She would have to catch some prey sometime and make a nice sleeping quarters for herself with their fur. She stretched out her arms before rising to her feet. She decided to give Niyol a break from riding and she would walk to where she wanted to go for a change. The hybrid adjusted her skirt and moved over to her belongings. She figured today was a good day for some fishing. Just like she wasn’t a good hunter, she wasn’t a good fisher either, but her father gave her the pole before she left to come join AniWaya. The coyote grabbed the rod and began to head out to the creek.

Along the way to the creek, Sanuye could feel the nice breeze flowing through her hair. Although it was a bit messy, it helped to add to the look of her hairstyle. Her curls were able to stay naturally, though she had a bit of a hard time managing it. Normally it was her adoptive mother who helped with her hair and the feathers she had placed in it, but now she was on her own and she would have to find some way to tend to it herself. It didn’t bother her much though and she continued on her way to the creek.

Sanuye finally made her way to the body of water, only to see that there was a male sitting there, fishing as well. The coyote hid behind a nearby tree and peeked out every so often to watch the male. She was never good at talking to males besides her father and siblings. She knew if she didn’t do something, her fox guide would appear out of no where and blow her cover. She quietly strolled out to the side of the bank and sat down a bit of a ways down from him. She tried to ignore him and concentrate on her own fishing.
