Located at the Great Fire in the Village! 5+

A storm system loomed to the East of the tribe lands, dark and creeping. With it brought the strong scent of dew and distant rain, carried along upon a chilling, crisp breeze. It teetered on the edge of the mountain ranges to the far East, over pouring their thick and humid clouds over the peaks, draping the mountains and making them disappear in their gloomy veils. It was early evening where the sun recently expired from the skies, leaving a dim afterglow and promise that the night was destined to be starless and even more dark if the storm moved through. It could be felt in the bones of those who were keen with their inner senses and their instincts to be able to feel such sensations of coming rains underneath their fur and skin. She could have swore that it was the same exact system that had been previously chasing after herself and Evadne on the outside, finally finding where the two ran off to, and finally gaining momentum in their direction.

The Luperci and the Mare were safeguarded here, underneath the numerous makeshift structures of abodes of the tribe people. Specifically, Ocèane and Evadne taken residence alongside Ocèane's mother, Tayui, for the time being until Ocèane was able to establish a dwelling to stake as her own. Evadne found her place comfortably outside, despite how distant thunder was a little unsettling. Ocèane knew that Evadne was not ready for the main stables of AniWaya just yet, for Evadne was still wild at heart and temperamental, but there was a place out back of Tayui's dwelling where Evadne was roped up among a suited resting, stable like structure that housed a rickety roof, straw bedding, and the essentials of food and water. The distance thunder roused a little commotion of snorting and nickering, but besides the wariness of the approaching storm, it seemed like Evadne was adjusting accordingly to the area that was designated as her own.

While it might have made sense for Ocèane to simply stay home with Tayui on this approaching evening, the young woman had other thoughts and projects in mind. Defying the distant growl of the thunder over the mountain range, the chocolate colored woman approached the ceremonial fire located in the heart of the AniWayan Village, immediately attracted like a moth to a flame by its flickering glow and heat. Even long since she left as an adolescent and not yet a woman during that time, the Great Fire still burned strong. Fascinated to know this, she wondered idly to herself who kept it burning so youthful like it still did. Was it the Raven Chief himself? Ocèane couldn't remember whether or not Dawali took a particular duty to tending to the Great Fire, but it was a possibility, as anyone was a possibility. Approaching it more closely, the surface of her cheeks burned with the heat radiating from the raging embers. She didn't feel the cold of the storm upon the breeze anymore, for it was the pure heat that eliminated any such sensation of cold and chills. It was nothing but warmth, light, life.

Ocèane let her entire being be soaked into the heat radiating from the Great Fire, until her gaze casted over her shoulder to the storm in the distance, growing darker. It was a direct threat to the Great Fire if the storm carried heavy rains. It would have the capability to extinguish it entirely in a matter of seconds. Letting her gaze wander amiss, it was the immense collection of firewood in the area that caught her eye, and it was then in her automatic duty as a Gata Hineyu to feed the Great Fire the nourishment that kept it burning. In order to be strong and suffice, the Great Fire had to grow and had to consume more nourishment for herself. In silence of herself, Ocèane began to collect planks and chunks of wood from the collection to the side, one by one tossing each into the fire, tending and preparing it for the storm that was rapidly approaching the village.
