WC:300+ Sitting patiently after he called to Aro. It wasn't often, since his son became an adult, that the two large males talked. He considered his relationship with his son to be one of mutual respect and learning. Jazper had never been a father before and it hadn't been as easy as expected. Aro hadn't lived through his teenage and young adult life while his young father had. The warrior considered himself to still be a younger male, in no way was he old and in capable, nor would he be for years to come. Jazper was a strong, optimistic, and loyal member of Crimson Dreams and while raising Aro he had hoped the boy would learn from him the lessons he would need to survive in the world. Their talks always seemed to be full of positive lessons that would truly help form the boy into a proper Knight. His attention shifted to the windows as he head the scratching of claws on wood as the black and white figure of his son came through the window, much to his surprise. This wasn't a sight the ebony wolf say everyday, or ever for that matter. As his son approached with a silly grin the father looked to his son with a baffled look. Shaking his head he noted mentally that he was half Ghita's and he should expect the unexpected. Standing he smiled, “Aro, today is a very special day for us.” Of course he wouldn't know why until he was told but Jazper had looked forward to this day since Aro was a pup. In the Knight family, or so his father had told him before he died, it was tradition for the eldest Knight to give his sons gifts. These gifts were meant to represent the son becoming a man in in that right a protector of others and a proper Knight. Motioning towards a large painting, that sat slightly above the floor and stood a good 6 feet in height, Jazper walked over and began to move the locks hidden on the side of the frame. Only Jazper and one of his young nieces knew about this secret passage. The locks were controlled with numbers: 3,6,1. "I suggest you shift." |
