This little hide out held a special place in the warriors heart. He could always come here to escape from the world when it got to rough and now he had a son to share it's comforts with. There was very few things he loved as much as sharing his treasures with his family. These rooms were filled floor to ceiling with objects that held his curiosity for hours. Ever since he had first gone to Halifax as a young male, about Aro's age, he had held a fascination with human odds and ends. He had read as much as he could about the instruments, the jewelery, the customs and lives of human beings. They were so interesting! Living with just their mates and children. Celebrating winter with Christmas, giving out a thing called candy to children dressed up as mythical monsters. The humans were a strange bunch but never the less, Jazper enjoyed their things.

He was proud of Aro, he had grown into a really good wolf. A male with a strong heart and open mind. There wasn't anything he could wish to be different about his boy, he was the son he always wanted. The warrior could only hope that his second litter would turn out as well rounded as his first son. Although, with all this luck, he was bound to have a trouble maker thrown in, a true mother son or daughter. It was surprising that his tuxedo coated son hadn't run off, having his mothers rebellious temper. Passing the sword to his boy he nodded quickly at his thanks, “Don't worry about it.” He shrugged off, “Just make sure when you go off on your own some day you do what I've taught you.” It was always hard to have blind faith in a child starting off on their own. Would they act the same once they have freedom? Would the lessons stick? Hopefully the sword would be a gentle reminder of his family history's guidelines.
