Izaak had never been to a formal meeting before so of course he was nosy. The call went up and the boy had taken off quickly. "Komm Blitzen, ich werde gewinnen." He called out the words to his albino companion. The animal was starting to get bigger as time passed so of course it had no problems in keeping up with the child. At one point it had even passed by Izaak and the boy had to call out to it. "Warte auf mich!" The animal seemed to have grown to understand him some seeing at it slowed down enough for Izaak to catch up again. The young coyote giggled and clapped his hands as he praised his pet.
When he came upon where the call originated from there were already a few there. But those were ignored in the favor of a single one. With arms outstretched he ran straight towards the grey female, the caribou calf still at his heels. "Sissy!" He cried out cheerfully as he tried to hug Kaena. Clearly he had his mind made up. No amount of persuasion would have him viewing the co-leader any differently. "Why sissy makes noises fors?" The question was posed as the child looked up eagerly at the female that he was trying to cling to. "Looks! Blitzen follows toos!" His tail wagged excitedly behind as he pointed to the reindeer. Being pointed out caused Blitzen to nudge Izaak's finger with his nose.
Izaak wasn't really trying to be rude but Kaena was the only one that he knew here and that he had met before. Plus she had been the one to make the call. And being who he was Izaak had easily forgotten about everyone else seeing as he currently only had eyes for the elder female. But then again the prospect of family had always excited Izaak. He had clung to his father and uncle the same way when seeing them. And in the case of his brother/cousin, he had sat on that male's lap among other things. So yes, family easily stole his attention away from everyone else.
