Word Count :: 501 Buttpost but I have made everyone wait long enough. .___.

The silver-shaded coyote was glad to see the rest of the clan begin to trickle in. The first to arrive was Sepirah, who was greeted warmly by the scarred Centurion. “Sure, glad to have you. I'll explain when everyone else gets here,” she said, tossing her nose to indicate the sable-shaded woman ought to come closer. They were family, after all, and the sable woman's place was with Kaena, or so the one-eyed woman figured. She was not Sepirah's mother, but Samael had delivered his children to her, sort of—he did not seem to care about them or anything else that happened to spring from his loins, and so the grandmother was obligated to care for them. Not that she minded, anyway.

The strange youth she had met in the center of the territory, Izaak, seemed to be dead set on his opinion—they were related. The Centurion did not quite know how to react to this, but she did not quite mind it, either. Though she knew plainly she shared no blood with this one, no amount of convincing could turn Izaak's mind otherwise. “Just trying to call everyone together,” she said, accepting the hug with little awkwardness. Her yellow-golden eye turned to the strange creature that tagged along with him constantly. It resembled a deer, but it was pale white in color, and differed in other ways. She had not asked about it, and now did not seem the time.

As the rest of the clan filtered in slowly, the grizzled woman stole glances at Kesho, wondering what his reaction would be to this new and different clan. It was not hers anymore, and it had ceased to be years before, yet it still accepted and revered her in some instances. The scarred woman was certain her old esteemed colleague could find similar contentment with the old guard. Clover was next to arrive, and the scarred woman smiled warmly at her granddaughter, her head inclining just a bit to display faint humility at the compliment. Following her was Heidi, whom Kaena watched with her single eye and offered an encouraging smile when she thought Heidi was looking at her, trying to make the newer member of the clan comfortable.

When the others had filtered in, the hybrid woman turned toward them. “Thanks for showing up,” she said, somewhat awkwardly. The scarred hybrid had never been too good at addressing crowds, and as this was out of the ordinary, the coyote woman did not quite know what to say. “Today, somebody from the start of the first Inferni showed up, however unbelievable that might be...” the coyote said, twisting her head toward Kesho. “I thought maybe it would be a good idea for us to recount what it was like on that beach there, that night. And... maybe someone who was here for the fire could tell how it was to reform?” the hybrid added, turning toward Gabriel or Corona, uncertain as to which might be able to volunteer.
