Anatoliy had turned two that day and he scarcely realized it. By now he had taken to living with Anann, since it meant more to him than the familial home he had come to like. There was absolutely no point to living in that thing, not when both his father and sister were gone and he had another home open to him. How could he not take the offer when it had come around? It eased the loneliness he had felt once he discovered that his father, too, had left to go adventuring or some other thing. Family seemed to be leaving him more and more. What's next, Silas? The two brothers had scarcely seen each other but at least they knew where the other was. At least the Russo had Anann to comfort him, even though Anatoliy would never tell a stranger that her presence helped quite a bit in dealing with it. He was a big family kind of guy and having no family was hard to handle.

The brunette left Anann at her cabin early that morning, telling her he wanted to go for a walk or something. He had not returned for hours, having situated himself under a yellowing tree. The call came and the Russo brightened slightly. So the last remnant of their immediate family was here. But his call was for the entire Russo family (Mars aside). Serious faced, Anatoliy wandered to his brother at the border. "Brozher," he greeted simply, wondering what brought his older brother here. "Haz somezhing happened? Vhy are you here?" Anatoliy looked concerned, but still sober. Silas did not know yet, did he? So it would have to fall upon him to tell the other man. Oh but how he wished he did not have to. "Is somezhing zhe matter?" After all, neither one of them had made much effort to seek each other out, how could Anatoliy know what happened with Silas?
