Anatoliy nodded at his brother, knowing quite well that Silas wanted to be alone. The Russo had wanted much of the same when he had found out, when he had laid eyes on that note from his father. But then he promptly ran into the arms of Anann because he knew, being alone for too long was not a good idea. He was already alone enough in this strange place now that he had no family. Well, there was Mars but this was some older half-brother that Anatoliy did not care to get to know. Somewhere inside he probably hated him, for being a child of Rurik's from another mother. These feelings were so bitter, so, so bitter. It was like chewing on milkweed.

Maybe five minutes passed, maybe more, but the Russo decided he had left his brother on his own long enough. He left the once family home, ducking under the frame and back into the cool fall breeze. Silas was nearby, he saw. Slowly, the man approached his brother. "Silas." Anatoliy stood behind his brother, resting a hand on his shoulder. "I... vill still be here. Don't chase them?" he asked, half begged. It was doubtful that the Agata man was going to do that, considering he probably had his eye on that girl in Inferni. So women were tying them both to this place. That was nice to know. "Ve von't find them even if ve tried."
